About Our Spin-Offs
In October 2017, Honeywell announced its intention to spin-off its Transportation Systems (Garrett) and Homes and Global Distribution businesses (Resideo) – click here to find the presentation and press release from our portfolio announcement. Garrett will be a broad market and technology leader in the rapidly growing global turbocharger industry across all powertrain platforms. Resideo will be a leading global provider of critical, residential comfort and security solutions, and a leading global wholesale distributor of security and low voltage products. In October 2016, we also completed the spin-off of our former Resins & Chemicals business, AdvanSix, which is a leading global manufacturer of Nylon 6 resin, caprolactam, and other chemical intermediates.
